SIBA low-voltage fuse-links (NH fuses) are the proven solution for protecting electrical installations in industry, power supply and infrastructure. They provide reliable protection against overload and short circuit, thereby safeguarding critical components such as transformers, motor circuits, cable systems and distribution boards.
Our low-voltage fuse-links are available in a wide range of sizes, utilization categories and rated voltages – from 400V to 1500V. They are used wherever cables and installations in low-voltage networks have to be protected reliably and cost-effectively.

Selectivity is a key principle in overcurrent protection.
It ensures that, in the event of a fault, only the fuse-link closest to the fault location trips while all other protective devices remain in operation. This improves the security of supply and significantly reduces the risk of consequential damage.
Selectivity can also be achieved in combination with power switches.
However, this requires precise calibration of the time-current characteristics. For applications such as transformer protection, the VDE 0670 Part 402 standard defines the selectivity between high-voltage and low-voltage fuse-links.
