Small footprint, writ large: our new SMD covered by "Elektronik Praxis" magazine (16/2010)

link to datasheetAugust 2010 – The German trade press has taken note of SIBA's new SMD fuse which is also capable of breaking "real" short circuits. Measuring only 4.6 x 16 mm in size, it features as the title story in the current edition of "Elektronik Praxis", an industry magazine with a circulation of more than 46,000.
Capable of switching up to 4000 A and meeting the relevant standard, the new SMD can even be used in explosion-protected devices.
